Hi. I'm a new and addicted to watching the virtual radar. I've tried to use custom filters so that I see only military or interesting aircraft. When I do, there's nothing shown on the map. Any pointers on how to use filters?

Also, in Options-General-Data Feed - what does "hide aircraft not on map" mean?

"Hide aircraft not on map" takes everything that you can't see on your map view out of the aircraft list :)

Yes. It's in the settings on the map. Except when you set a filter, it shows a blank map.

Depends what you are filtering on. You can filter, for example, to only show aircraft tagged as military.

That's exactly what I've tried to do and the map is blank. I've tried to filter to see only military and interesting aircraft.

Maybe there are none flying where you are. Try over Florida or Arizona/California. I just took that screenshot from the live site.

I've made a point to watch and there will be several military aircraft on the map. When I apply the filter, then nothing's there at all.

I'm using Chrome. Are they tagged as Military on the right hand side?

Maybe you use some kind of ad/script blockers. Disable it on this website.
ABP is not interfering with filtered consistency.

I disabled them but it still wouldn't work with Chrome. I installed firefox and the filters work. I was only able to use one filter at a time. Military and Interesting checked at the same time made for a blank map. If I unchecked one or the other, it worked. Just can't do both filters at the same time. You can use more than one with the iphone app.

    There is an iphone app?

VRS are an AND and not an OR then ..

so Military AND Interesting = no planes
