I can run that in just a moment but I just checked FA and last data was a minute ago, please see attachment
Ohhh ok that's bad news! Can I simply take the card out, insert into my Windows PC and use some sort of utility to clone the card into a new card?
Wait a bit ... maybe that's my fault. Might be an issue with the script stuff. (don't think so) Hmm .. on second thought, no i don't think so.
Let's just be safe and check the output for this command: nc -v -z localhost 30005 (don't want to chance it and it's just some interaction with some new stuff in the scripts)
I am guessing my best bet might be to wipte it and start from scratch but I also use it to upload to FlightAware and Flightradar 24 and also want to uplaod to ADS-B Exhcnage so as its a number of years sicne I set it up I am unsure how to proceed...
Let's first make sure it's not some issue with the script. Can you show the output for this command, it would be helpful. nc -v -z localhost 30005 As for starting with a new image and installing all that other stuff, maybe just use this how-to. The steps for using the piaware image should still be the same in the thread linked below. For installing adsbexchange, just use the current script install, not what's written in that thread. https://discussions.flightaware.com/t/bake-a-pi/19886
Well I WOULD show you the output of that command but I removed the micro sd to make a backup of it and out it back in the Rpi and now it fails to boot at all so looks like the sd card is either damaged or it has corrupted something so I am going to start from scratch
I have a spare micro sd card but am unsure as to how reliable it is so am ordering a new one and once it arrives I will start setting everything up on it. Many thanks for your help and I will let U know when it's all up and running
Looking at the instructions at https://discussions.flightaware.com/t/bake-a-pi/19886 it mentions downlaoding Raspbian Jessie Lite image but I cant find a source for that, is it OK to use Raspbian Buster Lite from here and the continue with the install instructions? https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/
also don't use the 3.5.1 piaware repo ... use the current one. probably easiest to just use this: https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-scripts/wiki/Automatic-installation-for-dump1090-fa then after just do sudo apt install piaware eww that also says to enable auto-updates... I had expected you to just use the current piaware image, but it doesn't matter. you'll figure it out.
Tonight I rebuilt the entire Rpi using the Piaware 3.8.1 image and I think I got everything up and running. I have attached the output from the commands you had previously requested.
