05 April - KC-135 58-0010 out of McGuire is flying what appears to be a refueling track at 24,000 feet over Washington, D.C. (specifically, Alexandria, VA to just south of Hagerstown, MD). Yesterday a KC-135 out of Pittsburgh was doing the same. The day before another KC-135 (didn't note the origin) was doing the same. I don't know how long this has been going on. This seems to be an odd location for training and I haven't observed any receivers during the limited time I've observed the tanker. Are we keeping a fighter CAP over D.C.? Any other ideas?

Routine CAP flight while POTUS was at Camp David over the weekend. Operating on 247.050. You typically won't see the F15/F16 aircraft on ADSBx, though we did see one using MLAT on Saturday.

This happens whenever POTUS is at Camp David. F16s are aloft all day, hence the tankers.
