  2. is there any consumer drones that look like military type drones? As in the same style only smaller of course.

What do you refer to? Icons on the globe map? A lot of the smaller military drones cannot be identified because they use dynamic hex codes, or are small enough that they do not fly in civil airspace. I've seen some smaller drones like the RQ-21 Blackjack visible with ADS-B transmissions, but lately near me, they all seem to be dynamic hex, and only spotted with MLAT or TIS-B.

alternatively, if you're just asking if they exist, in general, then yes - Ukraine is reportedly using drones purchased off Alibaba (which means they probably come with a hefty inclusion of spyware)

  5. I'm talking about hobby drones or whatnot. All the consumer drones i see have 4 props these military drones look more like a plane with wings. I'm just curious if there is hobby or consumer drones that are a similar style. I have a DJI Air 2 drone btw.

You will never see hobby drones on ADSB-X. They don't have 1090 broadcast capability, only the 5 GHz link to the controller and your phone.

  7. That is totally not what i meant. I'm not talking about seeing drones on ADSB. I'm asking if there is any hobby drones that looks like the military type drones. with wings instead of propellers. I don't know how else to explain it.

Alibaba sells lots of paramilitary looking drones for civilian use - they still cost several thousand dollars. But being from Alibaba, i would be quite cautious

This is one that is believed ot have been spotted being used by Ukraine as a suicide drone. If you scroll down to the bottom, it shows several other drones they (supposedly) sell:

  9. oh wow. i wonder how good the camera system and controller works? that thing is pretty big. too big for my car lol. thanks for sharing. i was looking on there for some after you mentioned they have them on there but i didn't see them. So this one is what Ukraine uses? Some of the Ukraine drone videos I've seen on the news looks worse then the DJI drones. there's so many drones on Alibaba but i wonder if any of them are worth the trouble. they even have DJI drones. i've never ordered from that website.

Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part. I'm our here in hawaii and sometimes visually catch small military drones.

  11. no problem. say is there other commercial drones that show up on ADSB like the drones BNSF railway uses for track inspection or police departments use? I just thought of that earlier. I don't remember what model of drone BNSF uses. not sure about other RR's.
