You may be right about the SD Card. I actually had to put a new one in the pi I set-up for adsbx and the one that was bad that I had to change was the one I was using to set up the first system. And what sucks most was it was a brand new SanDisk Extreme Pro 64 GB card.
I've had the best luck with the high endurance ones. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Endurance-128GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B07B98GXQT/ https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Endurance-microSDXC-Adapter-Monitoring/dp/B07P14QHB7/ The most failures came from Kingston SD, but it seems like they have a High Endurance now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLVV1QH/ High Endurance are designed for cameras, webcam, backup cam, security cams. If you want to spend a bit more, go with industrial ones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BLQHVQD/ It's not going to prevent if you are wrecking the car non-stop with writes and power fails.
