I never seen so many AR tankers flying together before. They all came from Spokane WA to fly around KS and then go back. the tracks are all messed up because of lack of feeder coverage and MLAT. There is 6 in one bunch and 4 in the other. https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae014d
update: I think they all landed at McConnell AFB. last i looked they was looking like they was going to land. there. I wonder if it's the ones from the base and they had moved them elsewhere because of the bad weather and the tornado that ripped through Andover KS. I remember when i was a kid in 1991 a tornado ripped through McConnell AFB and Andover. it was a bad year for tornadoes or a good year if you are a storm chaser. even Emporia KS where I live got hit that year. Emporia only got hit twice as far as i know. most storms or tornadoes go around us. I wonder if the 91 Andover tornado damaged any aircraft at McConnell.
another MITO training run ? Didn't they do this not long ago? https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zo...ly-launched-out-of-fairchild-afb-this-morning Yup, they did.
that's cool. Did you happen to catch the tankers being moved out of McConnell before the tornado hit Andover? Moved back?
