Stale positions on Global Radar View

In the last few days, I've noticed that Global Radar View is slower to load. While that can be OK, I have noticed a new issue, namely some aircraft are still painted in the last MLAT-ed position even though their real position is not there. For what I've seen it happens in two scenarios:
    1. MLAT calculation is lost, however, instead of the aircraft disappearing from the map (while still present on the list), the aircraft icon remains static in the last MLAT-ed position. That persists until a new MLAT position is identified in which case you'll see the aircraft all of the sudden jump to a new position.
    2. Aircraft has landed, however, the icon (and details) remain on the map for quite some time even though the aircraft isn't transmitting data any more. For example, I see one instance where the aircraft on the map shows at altitude of 700ft about 40 miles from the destination airport, when in fact it landed almost an hour ago.

This started happening in the last 3-4 days. It is distracting/distressing since one might go to an airport to see the aircraft when in fact, it might have already landed, or one thinks the aircraft is 300 miles away when in fact is only 60 miles away.

    Thanks

    Yup.

    1. Should be fixed. But probably still a bug in VRS.

    2. Bug in VRS. Should be mitigated as much as possible until a fix can be found for the UI.

Were you going to the airport to see a bunch of planes hovering 100 feet off the ground? How did that go? :D
