  1. Ah makes sense. Understandable. That would also explain why I don't see f-22,f16s etc. I noticed the f-15 f-35 and a10 at times pop up for a few mins.

i see 16's and 15's all the time, even seen 18Growlers and even F35s.

i think the f22, b1 b2 are the only exempt aircraft for ADSB.

  3. hmm f-16s and f-15s never show up most times I just see t-38s and they are some f-16 icons that are mostly N/A

  4. Since its not allowing me to send the screenshots direct message. From what I observed the c-130 is obviously quieter on final here but high altitudes they get quite loud especially the J model having 6 blades.
The grey paint on these planes make them hard to see at high altitudes when its hazy. Intentionally done to likely blend in with the atmosphere.

you had to be paying attention but one of the stealth bombers lit up his transponder for maybe 15 secs just before they all met up over tampa bay south/adjacent to macdill before the flyover then went dark. tried to get a screen shot but it was too quick. b52 was making patterns over the gulf for an hour then circled around sarasota for straight shot to tampa stadium. ads-b never updated the b52 altitude the whole time at 19000ft. flyover was 1500'

kc135s making patterns all day and suppose to refuel right after their flyover.
a b1 was at macdill previous couple of days. whether that was for the flyover who knows. all types are in and out there daily plus a variety of helicopters heavy and light

There were two B-52s in the area, DRAGO 53 is the one that split off and headed south of the stadium. DRAGO 63 was the standby aircraft incase anything happened while they were flying south to setup for the flight. DRAGO 63 was the one lurking over the gulf at 19000 while 53 dropped to 6000 before shutting off its ADSB to join the formation. and there were a total of 3 135's

And i completely missed the brief light up of a B1 or B2. and makes it interesting that they even have ADSB equipment since the FAA made them exempt from even having to use them.
