I understand that tar1090, by default, does not contain dpt/arr airport code information as it's not part of the ADS-B info sent by planes. I'm enjoying looking at this map and often look up where planes are coming in from or headed to. It's been great talking to one of my sons about. We look up and see a plane flying overhead and know what the call sign is but it's an extra step to google it to see where's it's headed. I saw that you can use airlabs.co to look this up 1,000 times a month for free. Half pondering coding something on my end but wanted to see if anyone was familiar with something similar having been done before?
Another great idea. I'll have to go to that site and check it out. Normally I just highlight the call sign and right click. BUT first understand that ADS-B broadcast from planes does NOT include any "dep/ARR" data as you put it. The downside of your suggestion is that probably that if the AC is LADD or PIA, you prolly could not pull data from that source. Better look at their policies first. I would not fall for the "free" like fight ray dur two 4
