ive been trying to feed my VRS to adsbexchange for 4 days now and i dont know what im doin wrong. I followed the directions on " how to feed from VRS" and used the port 41000 and after a day im not showing up on the feeder stats even thou VRS shows im feeding. I also tried custom feed for VRS using port 53130 which no one was using and i still didnt get any luck. I set my router to open ports 41000 and 53130 and set win 10 firewall to public and still nothing...any help would be appreciated...thanks

On feeder stats you can see only MLAT feeders. If your VRS is connected and you can see your traffic on custom feed then everything works.

Well I tried the custom feed and waited for a while but nothing showed up...I'm sure it's something simple I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out what it is. I'd like to feed mlat also but I'm not sure how. I'm running dump1090, VRS 2.4.2, flight aware pro stick plus & outdoor flight aware 1090 antenna...any suggestions would be great...thanks again

It is possible. I can post again links to dump1090-mutability, mlat-client and Meinberg time sync for Windows.

I'd rather feed this site than fr24 or FA just for the military aspect alone...I hope there's a tutorial also...lol...also I didn't see a download section on the main site for adsbexchange unless I missed it

    Example mlat-client .bat content:
    Code:
    mlat-client.exe --lat 51.66135 --lon 19.35375 --alt 130 --user MDA-MOBI --input-host localhost --input-type dump1090 --input-port 30005 --output-host feed.adsbexchange.com --output-port 31090 --no-udp
    pause

Thank you very much...I'll mess with it when I get home from work. Could this be the reason I didn't see myself on the custom feed?? I'll try a different 53xxx port later but 53130 appeared to be empty. Like I said...I made a port forward In my router and I even shut off my firewall so it would stop it

You don't need to open any port on router.
James announced new port range for VRS feeds, find free port and enjoy feeding.

A question about the example mlat client... Is the output port suppose to be the 53xxx for the custom feed and the input port the one that's listed in VRS receiver tab in options?? And is the altitude in feet or meters??

Port is fixed, don't change it. Altitude in meters ASL.

    Anyway, why not Raspberry Pi?
You can let it run 24/7 with less power consumption.

That will be my next project...I've never used raspberry before so it'll be like learning windows 95 all over again 23 yrs ago

Not really, Raspbian with desktop is almost like Windows (almost).
I believe you will like it.

anyway...thanks for the links and I'll try not to be a big pest on the questions...I've used VRS for a while along with dump1090 but never the mlat and sending it to a server so I'll try to figure it out...I get decent coverage from Chicago,Indy , Dayton, Cincinnati and Fort Wayne so I hope I can help

If you want to learn a bit about Raspbian you can download "Raspberry Pi desktop" for VMWare and run it on VM.

I think if I go to rpi...I'll just follow one of the guides you have on here for flashing the sdcard with FA and go with that...lol
