I've got a raspberrypi running raspbian successfully feeding the flightaware mlat using their fa-mlat-client and piaware, but wanted to add adsbexchange. I have fa-mlat-client and mlat-client both running and apparently setup appropriately, but nothing is showing up on the feeder stats.
It looks that MLAT server needs to be restarted every X (hours, days?) Some of my feeders were not present on matrix, but now they are . @Admins Thanks for restart.
Restarted my mlat client this morning and I get this in the logs (see image): but still nothing in the coverage maps/synchronization matrix.
Are there any other ADSBX stations in your neighborhood? Is your system time synchronised (if you are feeding FA then you can see MLAT status).
Flightaware has me synced with 233 receivers. There's definitely at least a dozen adsbexchange receivers within 50 miles of me. Oh never mind, I'm a doofus. Lost a minus sign, and put my receiver in the wrong hemisphere.
It's the simple things! FA uses a sort of round robin of the 4 (maybe more) 'randomly' picked nearest feeds to MLAT. Doing it with every one would not work CPU wise.
