Two Planes Designated AF1 in Air at Same Time?

    First time I ever saw this, wondering if it is due to recent conflicts around the world. Seeing two AF1 planes in the air at the same time, 82-8000 (typically the smaller backup AF1) and 92-9000, as POTUS travels to Kenner LA.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    when POTUS attended the NATO meeting in London AF1 92-9000 came over with AF1 82-8000 on the same track some 20 minutes later
