Could’ve been a p8 Poseidon. It tends to appear like that sometimes but will actually appear as a p8 on another tracker that I use.

I have a question about plane ID too. What does this icon represent. It's Hex ID is 2884B6. How do I look up the owner and other data about it?

Have you read the text in the details on the left side?

I just added this: "This hex id is dynamic and can't be connected to a type or registration"

And no the hex id is not 2884B6, it's ~2884B6 as it's a non-ICAO hex id ... which is dynamic.

Thank you. Like I was saying earlier, the number of these aircraft has simply exploded in the North Houston area, primarily in the last 4-6 months. They always seem to appear out of nowhere, no designated airport, fly a short distance and then no further progress. The next time I see many of them at a single airport I'm going to drive over there and take a look to find out what they are. Probably piloted by space aliens and the US Gov't just doesn't want to let on yet.

That altitude and speed i'd say it's military helicopters doing training.
They likely only have ModeC transponders so ATC radar sees them but we can only process ADS-B and ModeS (as MLAT so needs 4 receivers which is hard for low level).

Thank you again! Man, I wish one of my axis deer could jump that high!

HaHaHaHa! Maybe they were dropping Chinese troops into the canyon! HaHaHa! The verdict is still out. No way we can afford to have Biden sworn in as the President. Everything legal we can do is on the table, so we gotta do it. Glad I wasn't rafting down the Colorado River that day! I'd think I was in the movie Red Dawn, or worse.

Its the 18th and I tend to agree with you. The good part about most of the military helicopters around here is they are loud and you can hear them from a long way off, usually. I've experienced these icons that weren't helicopters though. I understand what you are getting at overall. Some aircraft just don't have the usual ADS-b equipment. Still, 20 of them out of Navasota on a single day, that's strange.

    Thanks again.

BTW, if you want to know what is going on with the Figure-8s, its part of what the woman who penned this article 5 years ago describes. This is the type of evidence that jurors like to listen to, and its what's going on all over the United States and they are using aircraft in Texas, widely using them:
