The POTUS is coming to town today. I was surprised to see AF2 appear. Can't see where it's at, but I assumed they wouldn't be broadcasting at all? According to what I've seen online, this is the vice-president?
You'll see AF2 more frequently than AF1 but both are typically visible. Occasionally, if you check aircraft around it or on the path he should be flying you'll see the decoy aircraft but not the primary. (I posted the aircraft registration/Hex in earlier post). Day before the election, 3 stops planned for AF1, check routes from Andrews to KCLE about 1pm eastern today, KCLE to KFWA around 4:15pm and KFWA to KCGI about 8pm, and finally a return about 11:45pm tonight
Watching videos from yesterday and today of AF1, appears President is actually using one of the backup planes 09-0016 AE4AE8 for these campaign stops.
