Hi all, I am in the process of getting everything I need to start feeding to ADSBx, but I am also interested in learning more about the capabilities of ADSBx's public api to query data. I am not too knowledgable in the different aviation terms/data fields, but I am reading up on the VRS documentation. If I wanted to query data for specific aircraft, what data fields would I be interested in? Callsign, ICAO, Model ICAO, Registration, Squawk, etc? Any information on the different fields and example query strings would be greatly appreciated! Excited to learn more about aviation
icao hex is the only unique value to an aircraft globally. a lot of countries use an algorithm to take one of their icao that a re blocked for their country and make a tail number .. so sometimes they are directly related but not always.
