Ok so I have used VRS in the past before setting up Raspberry PI receiver.
I just want to check I can use my pi to feed into VRS for myself.
I hope that it wont cause issues with my feed into adsbexchange, I dont want to get banned etc.
At the moment I have my tar1090 feed in my browser using my API key I think thats what it is, but I would like to use your website feed https://tar1090.adsbexchange.com/ as yours has more aircraft.

I do like the VRS server interface, just wish the voice announcments were more natural LOL
So if I wanted to get data from ADSBexchange can I do it and how? Do I have to ask permission to allow it?
Like I say fairly new to it so still learning.

    Cheers Mark

No you can't put adsbexchange data in your VRS.
Just use the page you linked.

The data you receive yourself plus the MLAT results you get, you can do whatever you want with.

It's a common question, so excuse the brevity :)

I'm also not quite clear why people want to do that.
You mentioned voice announcements in VRS, i guess you can't use https://tar1090.adsbexchange.com/ for some reason?

I cannot find where to enable voice alerts in the web interface?
Like I say Im new so I may get things wrong or not understand.
So if you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I'm not too familiar what VRS offers in regards to voice alerts.

Not sure why i'd want to implement something like that either.
So please ... just ask what function it is you require.
(even if it is unlikely that i'd implement it)

Rather sooner than later global VRS will be gone, it's too expensive due to server-side load.
