waypoints on the map ?

I'm new here, I already searched for an answer to my question, that I hope is not stupid:

Would it be possible to show the waypoints on the map ?

Since waypoints data is public data, could it be a feature request ?
Air traffic controls use waypoints very often during radio communications, so I'd find a representation on the map really really useful while following the flights.

I'd love those IFR maps would cover Europe as well.
