Whats a RAF A332 doing at Fort Hood?

    The RAF A332 are usually MRTT versions. They can be used as tankers, but also as flying ICUs with (I think) up to 50 patients. Of course, they can also be used as airliners or a combination of these roles. I've heard the conversion between the roles takes about 1 day.

    Netherlands also flies the A332 MRTT as part of the common European tanker fleet.

    ...which gives me an idea why the RAF one was in the US... contractual maintenance from Airbus and a British military plane not yet allowed to fly over Europe after Brexit?
